Kirara sit

It's Kirara from Inuyasha sitting down! I think Kirara is a really great friend to Inu-dan! She's always there when they need her most, and she's an important part of the team. I dedicate this to my friend Jamie. I usually associate Kirara with her, and myself with Shippo since they're both such good friends.

This was a spur of the moment type of drawing that just turned out almost exactly as expected. I originally sketched Kirara on a piece of paper along with some other Inuyasha characters. The original sketch was for a friend, but I couldn't help but save it to my computer. The original size of this drawing was 50% larger then it is now. I've been using the pen tool for lines on almost everything I draw in photoshop, and I just love how this one turned out. So smooth! I also tried a different shading technique then what I'm used to, and I'm pleased with the results. I used a picture from the anime for the coloring. I added Kirara's name in katakana at the top. I'm trying to use kana as much as possible since I'm trying real hard to learn it, and the best way to learn is with practice.
